High oil prices,food prices and electrical rates are all part of the Agenda 21 plan. I really don't care how much money Pickens makes. I put little faith in the global warming fad. Temperatures have been stagnant over the past 10 years. There is a strong correlation between solar activity and temperatures on Earth, and we've been in a period of low solar activity. I am concerned at our energy policy because of financial implications. We'll continue to have the inflation in oil prices because of demand from emerging countries. The financial argument for hybrids make sense at $4.00/gallon gas (in 3.5 years). We're at the point where alternative energy sources are cost-effective, and will only get more financially attractive. I also want to see the creation of jobs and industry within the U.S. Everything from engineering to installing the equipment. I've seen companies like Valmont that have created new areas of business by providing the towers that are used for wind towers. These are products and services we can export. T. Boone can make his money. He's willing to invest a lot of his own funds on the chance he'll make more. Good for him. Somebody is going to make their money, and better a true capitalist like T.
